My name is Shaya and just about everyone i have met loves my name. They think it is unusual and beautiful. And i never got teased in school for it!

I think it's a tough name to saddle a kid with. She'll definitely have to go through a lot of teasing in school.
(how about Shae for a middle name?)

I think that it is unique and beautifull in it's self. I have a friend who's daughter is named shealynn and I do think that it is a good name. But the best bet is to wait till the baby is born. Once you see the face you will know what her name is . Best of luck toyou Mommy .:)

It's cool. I know someone with that name and it took a long time to realize it was simply a nickname that stuck because everyone liked it.

We considered it for our daughter but went with something else. The more traditional spelling,however, is Shea.
