No way!!!Freckles are cool!!
When I was little I used to get teaed about mine all the time, I tried everything to take them away! One time when we were at a park this boy was teasing me about them to the point it made me cry (I was 7 or8), and my great grandpa (who was covered in them), took me aside and told me that they were angel kisses, and that we were really blessed to have so many angels love us like that. And that little boy was just jealous because he didnot have any angels.
From that day forward I loved my freckles, and I always choose makeup that will not cover them completely!
I say let them shine!
It is what makes us speccial!!

Well there is no way to completely cover up your freckles. (37 with freckles) but a good lightweight foundation is a great way to mute the freckles. Christian Dior has some really good, stay put foundations. Always use a foundation that has SPF15 or greater as your freckles become more prominent with excess sun and age.

Personally, I love my freckles, they are what I call "youth springs eternal"

I think she shouldn't cover her freckles as well because she is more beautiful with her freckles in her beige color skin tone.It doesn't matter in the physical appearance but matters most is the inside appearance.

I tone down my freckles by using a pressed powder foundation all over my face. I don't like my freckles to be really noticable, but I don't want to cake on the heavy makeup it would take to hide them completely either.

If they really bug her, she might tone them down a bit--but never cover them completely! People with unusual characteristics, like freckles, curly hair, red hair, very tall, etc., often get tired of what makes them stand out. If she could refocus and look at them as something that makes her special, unique--not easy, to be sure, but it could help her a lot.

My daughter's birthday is Christmas Day. We were afraid she'd hate it, but she says she's always loved it (she's 18 now) because it made her special. We didn't teach her that; she came to that conclusion on her own. She enjoys her b'day more than if it were any other day.

Perhaps your friend could be persuaded to view her freckles as special.

I love freckles. Does it show?

No way! Freckles are so cute and makeup is over rated!

First encourage her wear sunscreen all the time with her moisturizer. Its very important, those cute freckles will not be so cute in 5-10 years. For real.

As she does that, they will fade and covering them up is really easy. Light base and powder will work.

I think freckles are cute and they should not be covered. The problem is that none of us appreciates what God has blessed us with-

No Way! Freckles are adorable and make a person unique. Tell her she is beautiful the way she is, and she doesnt have to change who she is for anyone or anything....
