I believe so - I believe that there was much interaction and we our selves are an experiment from 3 - 4 different alien species (some look like Afro's, some Asians some European etc.) The experiment is still happening. But not they have left us alone for observation purposes.

If at all aliens exist, they would be smart enough not to contact us dumb war mongering idiots. Who would want to actually meet someone who is always on a look out for blaming someone?! All this jealous, hatred, killings..are a total let down.
Life form was and is on Earth only. No one till date has proved that there exists another life form on another heavenly body.
They may contact us on celluloid only ;)
