I recently got charged with driving with suspended liscense. I didnt show up for court and im sure i have a warrant for my arrest right now. If i happen to get a job will they come pick me up at my job? Have any of you had that happen before? How long do they take to find you usually? About a year? Half a year? Anyone got any information? And dont tell me to go turn myself in i know im going to get stupid responses like that. I konw i should turn myself in, i dont need to hear it from anyone else.

Yes they will come and get you at work. It may take a while. A few months I suppose. Depends on how bad they want you. You will get caught though. One way or another. I know you don't want to hear it, but you really should face the music. It would make everything easier. If you don't, they will end up charging you with something else.
Do you plan on filing your taxes this coming year? Or putting your social security # on the application for employment...see where I am going with this...they will find you. Imagine how embarrassing it will be when the police haul you away in handcuffs in front of everyone.
Its your life though...

Since you failed to appear, you probably have a warrant out. I would call the district attorney or city prosecutors office and reschedule. This happens all the time I'm sure.

I highly doubt they are going to send someone directly after you. This isn't like you failed to appear to answer rape charges. Driving under a suspended license is a thing that's a dime a dozen.

I hope that helps.

You need to call the court and see about paying the bond on
the warrant, then the fine for failure to appear, and try and make good, and if instructed to do so, turn your silly *** in, because the last thing you want to do is hope it will go away, and do nothing, because then you will get picked up at the most embarrassing time and locked up for sure.

Be a man and take care of your business!!

It depends on how many other warrants are out on you. Like as not, They'll haul you in when you get pulled over again because they'll be looking for you now. Call the courthouse and find out how to fix the problem instead of letting the fines pile up.

Just go down to the courthouse and reschedule your court date. It's not like they have room at the jail for every dork that misses a court date. If you dan't have $$ to pay for your ticket, do community service. I ended up getting a really good job from some CS I did.
