Seriously, dont get wrapped up in your "disorder" convince yourself that's not true and that you can talk to people. Don't try to be the coolest kid in school. Just talk to some nice people who will talk back... eventually invite them somewhere... it'll come.

I see by another question that you have panic attacks and social anxiety and realize that is why you have not been able to make friends. Have you tried to talk to just one individual that you can trust and like maybe with a family member present for support? Are there medications that you can take for this and have you seen a Dr. about it? Having friends makes us happy and also helps us to live longer (I guess because of being happier). If you can’t make personal friends try to make some through email. Anyway that or talking over the phone would be a good place to start. I wish you the best of luck.

Okay... to get over your shyness you must realize something. Everyone cares about what you think of them, just as much as you care what they think of you. There are some people in this world who want to be left alone. No one around you will know that you are not one of those people untill you let them know. Here's how:
1. Let go of the insecurity... If you act all cool because you don't want people to think you're a loser. You'll just drive people away. Don't be afraid to just let loose and not care. I promise there are plenty of people who will like you for who you truly are. Which brings us to 2
2. Be yourself... If you put on an act to make friends, you are compromising your sense of self. No one wants to be uncomfortable around people that they know well enough to call ''friend''. Lastly
3. Don't look for people to talk to. If a conversation strikes up SWEET!! , join in and throw your caution to the wind. Worst case scenario is they'll never talk to you again. (big whoop, there are 250 million people in the US alone).

I'll try to get some. switch environments or something. Or change image. haha. i'll die if i didn't have any friends. but being a loner can be rather fun. however it's doesn seem to be very good to be a "full-time" loner. there will be times when we need help from friends, right?

Well it's really simple getting over your shyness. Just go up to someone and ask them how their day was going and how they are doing. I mean i was shy too, just like you. But if i didn't have any friends then i would feel really lonely, so i would start going around and making friends so i would have people to talk to.

Just be you. Trust me, one real friend or two is more than sufficient. Other thing, I would like to share this book with you. I think you'd enjoy this book and benefit from this book. The source I recommend you is at below. It is easy to read and also it is fun to read! Hope this helps. The book costs about 12 dollars, I think.

If I have books, I have friends by the thousands.
I would be happy to be trapped on a deserted island with an endless supply of books, fruit and fresh water
