You cannot have a baby without both the sperm and egg meeting. Both contribute to the genes of the child.

Every human being has 46 chromosomes. The sperm carries 23, and the ova carries 23. Only when these meet do you have enough to make a baby.

you can't have one with out the other! so they both create the baby and obviously the sperm has to penetrate the egg therefore making it grow in mommy's belly! ;) how old are you?

Each is half of the puzzel. You put them together and get a whole baby. That is why it is called a miracle of birth. the cells continue to divide and you get a real person. WOW! It is amazing when you thinks about It.
