get a new phone. I have gone through phones when my son has dropped them in water. It was an accident but they never live.

If you could take it completely apart and wash it down with circuit board cleaning solvent, then dry it out, it might work. But you don't have the tools or the solvent to do that.

You might try checking with the phone manufacturer to see if they offer a repair service. But that might just cost more than a new phone. Dropping the phone in water is the main reason people pay for the Phone Insurance offered with most every service plan. Now you know!

i have to dissagree with everyone here.. my brother swam with his verizon phone and washed it and dryed it in the dryer and it still worked for a year.. but the flash would come on if the battery was low and kill it the rest of the way.. but if you keep dryin it off, like he put his on the top of his computer in a little shelf thing and it was hot in there so it dryed it.. leave it in a hot place for a week or so and it should work eventually.. just don't lose hope.

One thing to try is putting it in the refrigerator over night. Sounds funny, but a fridge will pull the moisture out. It has worked in the past, but not 100%.
