People's opinion changed after 9-11.
4 smashed planes and a lot of US soldiers dying in IRAQ and
Afghanistan causes fear, we don't care about ignorance-see
how we care more for Spongebob instead of our soldiers-
and the envy of what Desperate Housewives are going to do to
each other, well, this is the NEW American way. By the way,
you got to be sure you don't offend anyone.

i seriously dont know why they do this,i think its like total ignorance and they think they are better of,well only SOME of them,im american but then i went to live in my dads country for some years and some people think that when u go to africa,ur poor, well all i can say is that wat is on the TV is not always true, they should go to Africa and see for themselves, probably more fun to hang out there than here in my opinion, not every where is poor even though its sad,but i live in the city and a nice, beautiful quiet area with nice friends and i have a lottt i left behind, makes me cry when i think about then, especially cuz my bestfriend is there..but not only in Africa, every continent is a nice place too, there are good people every where,i have a lot of friends who are foreigners and u dont jude a book by its cover,u gotta read it first, like in knowing them first..

PEOPLE ACT WEIRD AROUND FOREIGNERS BECAUSE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ARE HERE AND WHAT THEY ARE HERE FOR. I THINK THAT IT IS MOSTLY BECAUSE PEOPLE HAVE A TENDENCY TO BE AFRAID OF THINGS AND PEOPLE THAT THEY DO NOT KNOW. BASIC FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN. I HAVE TO COME TO REALIZE THAT THERE ARE GOOD PEOPLE ALL OVER THE WORLD, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS GIVE YOURSELF THE CHANCE TO GET TO KNOW THEM . KNOW MORE THEN WHERE THEY JUST CAME FROM . ASK WHERRE THEY ARE GOING, AND TELL THEM TO HAVE FUN GETTING THERE. GETTING FROM POINT A TO PPOINT B IS EASY, THE FUN PART IS THE JOURNEY BETWEEN THOSE POINTS . HOPE THAT THIS HELPS YOU OUT WITH YOUR'E QUESTION .

Americans think they are better than everyone else, so when they see a foreigner they have certain prejudices. In general people do not react postiviely to people that are not in there ingroup.

relies upon on the relations and relies upon on the foreigner. Marry a chinese dishwasher and also you've gotten hardship. Marry a wealthy American or all and sundry with ability and the bitterness is lessened.

What people are you talking about?

Everyone is an individual. (Can't believe I had to write that! ;-D) We all react differently to different people.

I don't react negatively. Be careful not to stereo-type all persons.
