and they moved far away, never call, don't care if YOU call, and basically do not give a crap about your life.......oh yeah, and have told you that they wish they never had children.........and all u have ever done is respected them.

Not so bad anymore. Dads gone ,I get along with my mom. But growing up in that house was weird. By the fifth grade I could disappear for days and then just show up,it was like they never knew I was gone. They never looked at a report card and I was a habitual truant. My kids aren't so lucky I and the wife are always in their business.

wow, that sounds really horrible. i feel really bad for you. my parents, however, are on the opposite end of the scale. they can't seem to let my sister and me go! i told my mom once that i liked it better when i'm away at school than when i'm at home and my mom practically burst into tears. they won't let us go to the movies when the weather's too bad, won't let me go to friends' houses sometimes unless they know EXACTLY what's going on, and make my sister and me feel guilty for disobeying them or having differing opinions than theirs. wouldn't it be nice if we could just put our lives together and find a happy medium?
