Didn't see the show (I wish I could've -(( ) From reading the other answers I'm surprised you didn't know of his sexuality. 15 years ago & Freddie will always be remembered for generations yet. I don't know of he's in a better place but respect to the great artist.Just saw that ther's a tribute album to him coming out 4th Sep : Freddie Mercury - The Very Best Of Freddie Mercury (2CD)

Freddie was gay and did die of AIDS in November 1991. He continued to record up to the last month of his life. The Album, "Made In Heaven" is made up of these final recordings. And he made music videos in March & June of 1991 [ Going Slightly Mad" & "These are the Days of Our Lives"-his final public pictures]. We lost a brilliant artist and composer on November 24,1991.

If you mean about his health? Yes. And he sang til the end on stage. As weak as he was he did not want to give up. And he wanted to stay true to his fans. He was trooper.
