I'm a bit Old School. Bart will always be Number One. Cartman comes a close second, though his ego and stupidity sometimes annoys me. Stewie is at the bottom of my list. I think FAMILY GUY is the worst cartoon series ever created and I'm hoping it gets cancelled and destroyed in good time...though I doubt this will happen because the show has a rabid fanbase.

well the real question is Simpsons or Family Guy, Simpsons is a long running show that we are all used to and love very much, and is really funny all the time, but Family Guy is Pointless Comedy, they just do funny stuff right out of nowhere, whether it has anything to do with the plot or not, and no matter how many times they all get hurt, they never die, well not usually...

The first eight or nine seasons of The Simpsons, hands down. The show suffered a sharp decline in quality after that point.
Otherwise, South Park -- but only later seasons, when their wit and political/cultural savvy became razor sharp.

Family Guy all the way. Stewie is awesome, funny even when he tries to kill his mom. but creepy .
