My husband is looking for a state in which they pay for you to go through the police accademy. He has gone through it here in Michigan and there are just no jobs here. We are open to anywhere he can find a job.

I just had 3 friends get paid to go through the academy here in washington. They were all hired on at a new jail being built and were sent to the academy and paid for their time there.

You can try usajobs.gov. This is a complete listing of federal jobs to include law enforcement. There may be some law enforcement jobs that pay well.

It is the same pretty much everywhere. I can't tell you how many people I've seen go thru the academy, but very few actually get hired.

Try small town with growing up population. They are usually in need of policemen.

my opinion is go to california you & him can never go wrong ,there are plenty of opertunities there.And in the city we live in, there always looking for shariffs thats palmdale or lancaster
