all you have to do is move the 'unwanted' stuff to one side and leave the one that you want on the other.
in this case, leave the y where it is, and move the 4x. moving the 4x over will result in it becoming -4x. this sign switches when moving across the = sign. + becomes - and x becomes / and vice versa.
therefore, y = - 4x - y = - (4x + y)
all you need is some practise to deal with math, especially if youre rusty. good luck and (try to) have fun at school!

enable x be the ten's digit and y be the single's digit Our unique # = 10x + y x+ y = 12 x+ 10y = 10x + y +18 which will grow to be -9x + 9y = 18 and then dividing by technique of -9 we get x - y = -2 x + y = 12 x - y = 2 2x = 10 so x = 5 then 5 + y = 12 and y= 7 Our unique # grow to be 57 5+7= 12 seventy 5 = 57 + 18

y = -8 -4x
Just move over the 4x and reverse the sign so that the y is alone.
There you have it.
YAY!

y = -4x- 8
Just switch the 4x to the right side. And if it is a positive, switch to negative and if it is a negative, switch to positive. I think it should be right?
