By 1935:
Disney had developed Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy.
Universal's main star was Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, which they had stole from Disney when he worked for them.
The Fleischer Studios had Betty Boop, Koko the Clown, and were on the verge of introducing Popeye within a Boop cartoon.
MGM's biggest claim to fame at this point was the animated adventures of the Katzenjammer Kids.
Meanwhile Warner Brothers had amongst their "stable" of stars Bosko, Foxy, and Buddy. But later that year, Porky Pig would debut in "I Haven't Got A Hat", which would lead to the Looney Tunes characters we know and love today.
