This is very rare, but can happen. Unforunetly u may have miscarried and not known also. I was 7 weeks preg. and for the hell of it took a preg test, cause I had an extra one from when I tested weeks earlier...(Just cause I was so excited).. When the test came back negative I freaked... The doctor had confirmed my pregnancy 2 weeks earlier, but my HCG levels werent doubling like they should have. I went to doctors and he said I miscarried, even though I did not bleed, till my period was to come two weeks later. The only way to know is to go get a blood test..Good Luck..

yes you can be 8 weeks pregnant and get a negative result. Pregnancy home test kits are never 100%. To get a better result would be to go to the doctors where they will test your blood. it is more accurate

At 8 weeks pregnancy test should be positive. To be sure you should pay your doctor a visit and have them perform the test and perhaps an ultrasound at the office. An ultrasound at this point will let you know if you are pregnant and how far along the pregnancy is. Perhaps you period is really late, and you stress is making it later. Try to relax. good luck

i would say yes, it could be wrong if you have low hcg levels. the home pregnancy test were always negative for myself. of course i did not do them through my whole pregnancy to see when they would have become possitive, but i did find out with a blood test at almost 2-1/2 months that i was pregnant because they didnt work.

not likely! if youre pregnant that means the hormone is detectable in your urine you may want to try another pregnancy test if you know for sure you are pregnant and if it still says negative then contact your doctor on monday

that's nearly impossible. only thing i can think of is either it's a defective test, or you may not be following the instructions. OR something in your system is affecting the reading. unless, of course, you really aren't 8 weeks pregnant :)

i might want to call the health practitioner or health middle, and make an appointment to get a blood attempt, they're going to verify your blood for being pregnant it truly is definetely gauranteed to reveal if you're pregnant or not. Congrats if you're pregnant!!

They effectively detect a pregnancy 97% of the time so there is a three percent chance that it is wrong. It does happen. Best of luck to you.

Yes, you can. Home pregnancy tests can give false negatives. I have had it happen before. It can also mean that you don't have the proper hormones, so please get to a doctor as soon as possible. God bless you and the baby.
