How come? Is it true?

How come people like adults say i am pretty and stuff like that? But NO one has asked my out or i dont know any one who likes me (beisdes a kid that is 3 grades younger than me) are people just calling me pretty just to be nice? I am not a mean person. so they cant be afriad that i will say no. How come?

dont listen to girl. anyways im sure you are beautiful in your own way and maybe guys are to nervous or shy to ask you out. dont worry about that anyway. the right guy will come along soon you just have to be patient.

Have you tried asking someone else out? Maybe you're so pretty you intimidate guys. I used to go out and there were more girls that aren't as pretty as I was being asked to dance. I finally asked a guy to dance and asked why that was. He said that is is a simple matter of being turned down. Totally shallow. I thought there was something different about them.
The other thing is to walk into a room like you own the place and know you're the best looking, even if you really aren't. Guys go for confidence as much as girls.

Sometimes, people who are very pretty intimidate others and make them afraid of asking you out. If there is a particular someone who you are interested in , send them the signals. Otherwise, just let time do it's work, and when the right time comes around, someone will ask you out.

well yes sometimes grownups do tell us we are pretty just to be nice. but not always. if people are not comming up to you for relationships, then you need to think about how you are presenting your self, are you making yourself open to new possibilities of other friendships and relationships or are you stand offish, like shy and dont apraoch people? you need to just put yourself out there more, but in a lady like way, and let people get to know you. you cant always expect people to come up to you, and if your too shy then sometimes they dont come back. in order to make a connection of anykind, you have to be able to communicate with people that means also making eye contact and be able to hold a conversation. well good luck, you can do it, just take it one step at a time ok!

Looks is not the only factor for relationships.
Develop yourself. Your character, your attitude etc.

Or maybe you're too pretty, it's intimidating for guys to woo you & thinking they'll get rejected.

some say it cos they mean it while others say it perhaps, out of courtesy too. different people have different says about looks. nevertheless, being good looking doesnt mean that the opposite sex will fall head over heels and ask you out like in some teens drama. maybe there are a few ppl who have crushes on you already juz that you have not realized it yet or perhaps they juz wanna keep it to themselves. there are many reasons that i can think of.
