I don't put much stock in the bible. It's just a book.

I believe in the Bible, but not so much the so-called 'Bible Code'. I know that you can take almost any book and do the very same thing they did with the Bible, so I think it's just something that someone did because they had nothing better to do with their time.

INteresting thing about the Bible Code. If you apply the same techniques to any other book of sufficient length, you end up with coded messages in them too.
The creator of the Bible Code program once made a statement that no one could run a book like Moby Dick through the program and come up with a prediction for the death of a head of state. Someone actually did it and came up with over a dozen predictions of heads of state being killed, including President Kennedy...
On one page, they found some of the following phrases...
Kennedy
coffins
shot
head
hadbeensokilled
It also referred to Oswald on the same page with the following...
rifle
hestoodveryquietly
remainedinvisiblyenshrinedwithin
On still another page in Moby Dick referencing the Kennedy assasination, they again found Kennedy's name along with the following words.
shot (found several times on this page)
Kennedy
Texas
USA
thechief
head
rifle
die
death
On yet another page of Moby Dick, Kennedy's death was "predicted" with the usual stuff listed above, but also has the following encoded in the text...
Kennedy
thegodsdecreeit
heshallbekilled
incars
die
dead
Bear in mind that this is using English, and is much less likely than Hebrew (mathematicly speaking) to net any results at all, let alone results that are as specific as the ones found in Moby Dick using the Bible Code. Yet, "miraculously" Moby Dick seems to be pretty accurate.

I have tried a few programs that use the bible code principle against various versions of the bible and against a copy of Moby dick, War and Peace and the Torah. It is my belief that you can find anything in the bible as well as any other large book using the "code" method they use. My name is "coded" in the bible 19 times and Jesus is "coded" in Moby Dick 16 times. Although It is a fascinating theory and I belive nothing is past Gods capibility I dont feel the holly spirit on this one ;)

If you mean the code is: "Believe what works this moment even if it contradicts what you believed a moment before", then yes, I believe that is how the code is practiced.
