Google's products has a name starting Google, so wirtely needs to be renamed, it must be consistent with other Google products.
Do you agree to rename Writely as GOOGLE WRITE?

Writely was originally a NON-google product. Once google bought Writely off the creator, they decided to keep the name to keep users happy, instead of calling it 'google write'.. this is similar to google buying orkut and keeping it named orkut, instead of calling it 'google friend networking' or 'google myspace'.. or whatever.

i think that Google must have a reason to name it that way. Till the time they are able to make money, nothing much in the name.
