I find this attitude irritating, and it exists both in and out of the gay community. There is nothing "female" about a gay man, no matter how feminine he may act. Gay men are all male, just as male as any straight guy. What do you think?

well, there is some scientific evidence that human sexuality is determined in the woumb. This is caused by babies of one gender being exposed to hormones meant for babies of the opposite sex. This can cause the mental aspects of the child to develope as a woman and the physical aspects of the child to develope as a man (or vice versa). This would lead to women being trapped in men's bodies (or men trapped in women's bodies for my lesbian friends out there). This evidence is in the process of scientific testing and all the kinks havent been worked out just yet. Thank you for being inquisitive though!

because when gay men act feminine, what are others supposed to think? cmon, your not that stupid. i find it just as irritating for gay people to act like they are something theyre not. i know theres alot of roleplaying in sex, no matter what your orientation, but why publicize it? ive got nothing against gay people, what they do is none of my business, but i have a problem with my kid asking me why that guy is acting like a girl at 6rs old. why cant gay people just admit to what they are. either your a gay man or a woman, youll never be a man to woman or woman to man. accept what you are as you expect others to accept you.

Well, some people have very locked views on gender and figure if you like guys, then you must be female.
Women who work in male dominated lines of work like construction or law enforcement are either told they're not "man" enough to do the job or they must be lesbian.

I agree. People confuse gender identity with sexual orientation, and I can see where that would be frustrating.
Another common misconception is that all tranvestitic men are gay. in reality, many of the men who like to dress like women are perfectly straight when it comes to sex.
