there is a real plant called a money tree...since it obviously doesn't grow cash, why do they call it that?

I don't know I thing money is made out of hemp but probably the compare it to the green tree

bec someone wanted to whack a leaf of the plant, and instead found a gold coin, so called it cash cow.
