I have a problem with this because it is violating my concept of the man law. What should I do?

"The man law?"

Maybe they're just closer friends than you and he!

Chill out!

Because it's a mutual friend, you can't really say that he's violating the man law. He's not, and it's just pissing you off that he's getting the inside information you want. So instead of getting upset, talk to him a little more. go out and do the "guy" things that the ex can't...bond a little and maybe his loyalty will shift from her to you...because that is what this is about anyway right? The loyalty. The line of thinking is that men should stick together? I'm sorry to say, but he's exempt from that when he's a mutual friend. It sucks, I know, but it is what it is.

what frigging man law is this ,friends are not allowed to talk to their women friends?????
i can understand why your girlfriend broke up with a guy with these strange macho concepts ,
you dont own people any more these days
you should learn to become more tolerant and be less posessive .and you may get a girl friend again.

You've already broken up with her.

Didn't you say it's just a mutual guy friend?
Don't take it too serously.
If you're affected by it, tell her nicely & not turn her off.
Tell her you love her & didn't like her paying more attention to him than you.
If she loves you, she'll respect you & honour you.
Be fair to her cos all 3 of you have this friendship all along.
You can't expect her to "break" this friendship with him for you.
So long she maintained giving you more attention, it should do.

if hes a close friend he should back for for a bit knowing you two just broke up, regardless of how he feels...

however if your just aquaintences or he dosen't care about what he should do your SOL and maybe you should reconsider the friendship.
