I am sorry it is from like the 80's and she is helping these little friends of hers i keep wanting to say the Popples or Huggles, but i don't thinks those are it.

Was it MirrorMask? It was a Jim Henson Prod. film where a girl was in a world made from her sketches. The princess in the dream-world switched places with her in the real-world and there was an evil queen. It came out last year.
