HAve trial contacts, one came out at dinner, as I have no replacement ones till next week, I placed it in a plastic cup with water until I could get home.
If I put it in the solution ( all in one kind) overnite will it be okay to use tomorrow ?

Yes, everything should be alright if you place it in some solution until tomorrow. As long as it stayed in a liquid and didn't dry out too much, it should be safe and usable come tomorrow.

What kind of contacts do you have? I wear hard contacts and have had no problems with using my contacts after a situation like the one you described. I just go home, clean my contacts, and put them in the soaking solution. They're perfectly fine to wear the next morning.

Hopefully someone who wears soft contacts will be able to tell you about how it works with those. I wear hard contacts (also known as gas permeable lenses).

a million. This rather relies upon on your age. once you're nevertheless growing to be then this would exchange issues - form of. selection-focals (or notwithstanding you spell it) at the instant are not shown, however the statistics can lead you to have confidence that they might slightly slow the value at which your eyes exchange. (those are glasses) touch lenses do no longer try this. while you're completely grown, they gained't make any difference. Urm, is there something? additionally "no longer common" touch lenses have a bigger impression on the value of exchange on your eyes while you're youthful - yet thats provided which you stop wearing them. 2. it relatively is no longer proper - i many times sleep in my a million day contacts with the aid of twist of destiny - nevertheless i do no longer propose it as a results of fact its no longer superb taking them out after. i comprehend it is rubbish suggestion, however the best subject to do is refer to a qualified optician. desire this helped - even in a small way

yes it is alright to put you contact lenses in water for alittle while, like you did. And you contacts will be cleaned after a night of being soaked by the solutions and ready for the next day.

I've never had a problem if I put it in water, as long as it didn't dry out. I'll tell you this now (and I KNOW I'm not the only one who's done it)...if your contact falls out again, and you don't have access to water lick your contact lens, and put it back in. I know it sounds nasty, but it works like a charm.

Yep. Should be fine. I would make sure you clean them really well before putting them back in, but there shoudn't be anything wrong with it. I have had to put mine in my mouth till I got home to clean it. It's not going to hurt it. Good Luck!

never never never put contacts in water...put them in any kind of eye drops or saline solution, but not water. people do it, but if you have to put them in your mouth, you need to rinse them off with some kind of solution before you put them back in...you really don't want the stuff in your mouth in your eye

go to your eye doctor...that happened to me too...they'll give you a replacement one if you need it

it will be fine to wear, just carry some eyedrops in your purse for if it happens again

yeah it should be. as long as it stays moist. this may sound gross, but i know people who put them in their mouths when they fall out and pop them right back in their eyes. gross to me... but whatever works i guess. As long as its not scratched it should be fine.
