I think it is highly possible, however we shouldn't have given them such a small margin to contend with. Americans need to learn to pick the right candidate. I agree that Kerry was basically a weiner, but Bush is an idiot. Gore would have made an amazing president.

I believe they stole the 2000 and the 2004 elections using, respectively, the 5-4 Republican majority on the Supreme Court to stop the Florida re-count and voting machine and ballot tampering in Ohio to shore up those needed electoral votes.

I maintain a hope that the U.S. is not that stupid. So yes!!
I have a very hard time believing that Ohio, the "northern" state that got hurt the most by unemployment was the one to finish the job. I can't belive it.. Sorry..
crazy_airfor...- Don't agree.. The reps will win again in 08, according to 04, the U.S. is too stupid for a change. They'll get swayed by the B.S. preceeding the election with non issues like gay marriage and illegal immigration(which neither party will deal with anyway).

They put a system in place to win... whether the voting machines made by Republican supporters were counting the votes properly or not.
More important was their cost... since income tax pays for the voting process, in places where they required voting machines, which are very expensive, rich polling districts, which have lower population density due to richer people (mostly Republicans) with houses and yards of their own, had fewer voters and an abundance of expensive voting machines. Poorer urban districts, where property tax is lower and most people are renting apartments in population-dense areas where they're stacked up on top of eachother, polling places could only afford one or two machines, and therefore the urban residents (mostly Democrats) had to wait in line for 8 hours or more (you remember from the news).
And while the law says people can't lose their jobs for going to vote, it's not upheld and people are afraid.
It's genius, even better than a poll tax.

The only pregnant chad I ever saw was a woman from Chad.
Kerry did something correct. He voted for himself before he voted against George Bush.

The 2004 election? I dont' care. But feathery has it right about 2000. Completely right.
"None are more conscious of the vital limits on its judicial authority than are the members of this Court, and none stand more in admiration of the Constitution's design to leave the selection of the President to the people." (From Bush v. Gore.) Yeah, right.

Yes, there is a strong indication of it. It is just a shame when it becomes more important to put your person in office then to hold fair and honest elections. The repuglicans are suppose to be so moral too. Not the case as we are finding out.

What's your plan for the future besides hating W and whining that Republicans "stole" the election?
Grow up.

No one really thinks it happend, every area has stupid issues, from dead people voting ( happens in all elections) or illegal aliens voting, or felons voting and so on,
But in general the democrats were just poor losers.
