My trading cards are getting wear and tear. Can card sleeves prevent this? If so where can I purchase them?

You can get sleeves in the same place you buy the cards.

And that is what they are for.

The sleeves can protect the life of the cards. You should have started using sleeves when you first purchased the cards, that way this wouldn't have happen. The sleeves are inexpensive and they will protect any type of cards that you decided to use them for. I am not sure if you already have a card holder, but if not then you should get one. That way you can keep track of all the cards and they won't get lost. Remember, try to keep the cards in good condition, that way if you try to sell them later on down the line, they will be in decent condition.

Yes they can. I would have bought card sleeves from the start. I used to play magic a long time ago and i didn't want them to get messed up so i used protectors. Next time use sleeves before they get messed up.

Yes card sleeves can prevent this. You can buy them at any hobby shop or comic book store. Wal-Mart has some but the best looking ones are at comic book stores.
