why do i have flies on my brick patio all the time, and how do i get rid of them?

You probably live near a chicken ranch.

You could plant a lot of geraniums around. Flies don't like the smell.

Some irresponsible jerks might look into torching the chicken ranch... happened where I live. No more flies, but my commute smelt like burnt chicken for a whole year, and the hills are still black. I would have preferred the flies.

You have a plant(flower) growing close to this patio that attracts flies..we have one on purpose way out in the back of our yard...works great!

Get you a 2 liter bottle and put a rock in it and fill it with water and set or hang it where you want to keep the flies away.I was told to do this and it worked.Good luck with the nasty little things

We had this difficulty. very last summer season we had 5 - 6 wasp on our terrace. we'd want to spray wasp spray, yet more effective might want to come back. ultimately we filled the small area between the bricks with sparkling calking and havent had a difficulty when you consider that.

You can buy fly traps at Walmarts. All you have to do is add water Read the instructions and it is real easy. It comes in a yellow plastic package and it really works.

Spray diazanon all over the outside of your house, decks, etc. Drop pest control granules around your house. Then go on a fly killing mission.

Use some bleach in a spray bottle. It kills fleas so it should kill flies. I hate flies too.
