President Bush isn't perfect. Some of his decisions have been questionable. Yes, he's made some mistakes. Yes, the war in Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein isn't going as smooth as it could have. His administration has under estimated the resistance to democracy. However, I believe he is really now attempting to make the United States safe and secure. One thing you need to remember, politicians, including the President want their friends and families to be safe. We need to protect our country. Some people cite the Constitution and say that our freedom is being taken by an invasion of privacy. The Constitution and the Bill of Rights were to ensure that we maintained our freedom, but it wasn't a suicide pact.

Is wiretapping necessary? The government used it before against organized crime here in the U.S. in the middle of the 20 century. The President and our government is primarily concerned with foreign calls coming into our country. That is one way to decrease the possibility of Islamic-fascists from causing terrorism here in America.

Our President and the President before him and so on wasn't always completely honest. Sometimes disclosing too much information jeopardizes national security or as with President Clinton, is just too private to reveal to the public.

Bush is a liar for everything that comes out of his bumbling mouth. He doesn't seem very literate except in using foul language. But, I must say, for a Christian(?), he really seems to have had a lot of practice with that. The man has a nasty mouth and I don't know any Christians who use that kind of language. Maybe Barbara should have washed his mouth out with soap a few times. That may have helped, but I doubt it. He seems to like those words and uses them a lot when he thinks no one hears him. Makes you wonder what else he has said or done that hasn't been caught on tape.

Get a clue. If Jimmy Carter were president, he's still be negotiating with the psycho terrorists for the release of the hostages. Can you even imagine that the terrorists would just go away if we weren't pounding the hell out of them on a daily basis? They want to KILL you, fool, and your family, too! And you're worried about how President Bush is trying to gather as much intelligence as possible on their activities?

You could have stopped with is Bush a liar, I would have answered yes. Of course it is yes to the rest of the question also. You a really can tell when he is lying though, his lips are moving.

Yes. And he should be impeached. Monica blows Bill and Bill gets impeached. Bush pisses all over the constitution, and nothing happens because a Republican Congress is too busy blowing him.

He is not a liar, he is a criminal who has jacked the American people for the last six years. But hey who can blame him, he is just carrying on the family tradition.

Was clinton a liar, too?
/OOPS!

.
.My point is that clinton exercised an even more aggressive wire-tap program & nobody seemed to have a problem with that.
I guess hypocracy inherently goes with the leftist...
