I really love the album The Queen Is Dead and Meat is Murder.
But my favorite song by them is most definilty "Handsome Devil" and "What Difference Does It Make?" And of course "How Soon is Now" is classic.

girlfriend in a coma has to be my favorite song because i saw the video on the old mtv show 120 minutes and went out and bought strangeways here we come the very next morning (in 1988, my first smiths cassette). there is a light that never goes out is a close second. my favorite album is hatful of hollow.... such a cool title.

Yeah, I totally agree - that's one of my favorite Smiths songs too.
Best album? I'd have to say Louder Than Bombs. Oscillate Wildly is a beautiful song.
Can't go wrong with The Queen is Dead, either.

The Queen is Dead album is my favorite! i love that song too. Everything on that album is great!!! I haven't heard it in a long time, now i want to go find it right this minute!!!!

The classic album must be "The Queen Is lifeless" no longer a duff music in sight. My generic music in spite of the incontrovertible fact it incredibly is "The Headmasters Ritual" variety the beef is homicide album, however as a huge Smiths fan, i admire all of them and its very annoying to go with one. i admire all of them
