Are we so entrenched in political correctness that we are lulled into a malaise?

Why do our universities continue to beckon to our shores Middle Eastern students, who mysteriously disappear or end up committing atrocious crimes?

I'm not. In fact, I'm politically incorrect and darn proud of it. Real men (and women, like Ann Coulter) speak their mind standing up for what they believe in.

You haven't done your homework. The federal government subsidizes these students to the tune of 2.5 billion dollars a year. Essentially, our tax dollars make it possible for students from ALL foreign countries to come here and educate themselves. It's not just the Middle Eastern students. Get out of your malaise and write to congress if you haven't done so already. .

political correctness is not something I as a liberal am proud of, because I believe in freedom, free speech, etc., but there are limits which must be imposed to prevent violence. sometimes those limits go too far, but the concept is new enough that it will take time to reach a balance.

Having worked at a University (UC Berkeley), I can assure you they aren't beckoning, the students are swarming.
