I would wait for him to kiss me. It would feel better if you let him make the first move. It would be more exciting on your behalf. Then you can say, wow, _______ kissed me and be soooo excited about it. Good luck sweetie and have fun.

If you feel like it, I dont see any reason not to. Its not like you have to kiss him, or not kiss him. Kiss is something that you do to let your emotion out and share it with the one you love. You should do it when you feel like the time and place is right.
So what if you never kissed anyone before. Shouldnt he feel special because you chose him as your first kiss? A Kiss doesnt have to be good.. Its the reason why you kissed him that counts.
Dont be afraid and cherish the moment. Find a suitable romatic place. Dont mind anything else but the kiss.

if alcohol is involved, just be extra flirtatious. It should happen naturally soon afterwards. If no alcohol is involved just have a good time with him, make a cheesy bet that involves a kiss for the winner or loser. Start out with the cheek and see his expression. if he acts funny afterwards leave it there, dont push any further. If he's still flirting back, lay it on him!

no, you should lull him into kissing you. if he's too much of a pussy, this guy is not someone you should chasing after.
just flirt with him, touch his hair, arm, etc, and try to be alone with him at the end of the party. if you give him the correct message, he will have no problem going in for a kiss.

Sure.Why not? If you like him and he likes you. Don't let other people make you feel embarrassed. Sometimes the best thing to do in life is please yourself,selfish as that sounds.
