ure totally rite!...i slowly stopped watchin MTV b/c of that im tried of their stupid reality shows they've strayed away from their title i mean the station is called MTV...Music Televison, and they hardly play videos and if they do its like at 3am when nobodys watchin or 10 am when everyones at school or work.....i watch my videos online now...

They play videos alright, just when no one is watching.
I believe that they show videos from 3am (or somewhere around there) to about 8am or 9am. But yes, all music television minus the music.
Do you think if there were enough people complaining that they would actually start showing videos? I'm sure that there are, but either way, you are very much right.
But they have those extra channels on satelite tv that only play music, but i think its an extra 5 bucks a month if you wanna get that and vh1 music video channels.
We should send them a plethera of emails, and see what they do.

Well I've never watched MTV...but it's probably that way because they are trying to keep up with what's bringing in money for other television stations. And that is reality tv.
Not to mention they don't have to use celebrities and pay them tons of money or stress about contract deals.

I really don't know. Perhaps the reality they put on got higher ratings? It's also a terrible shame that MTV2 was created for 24-hour music video playback and just became another place for MTV to dump their sh*t.

They have spin off channels that play video like MTV hits which I watch. It's been evolving so much. I like Mtv2 and the crazy shows like Andy Milonokis.

It has become a dumb station. There is no music anymore. They didn't even want to celebrate the 25 yrs on the air, they was afraid the young people watching would think its an old network

MTV is so lame. If you have good cable, and you like rock music, I recommend Fuse. Lots of video's and none of the crap!

Now the music's on MTV2.

Do you remember NO REPEAT MONDAYS...those were my favorite, or 120 minutes. Now most of the music stinks,and all the videos look the same.
