There is a process for removing the spindle bolt that hold the rotor on. Does any one know how it is done? It is simular to removing the tire bolts.

on a grand am you don't have to do nothing but remove the wheel then the caliper,,and then the rotor,,if its the back ,,you do the same thing,,its really simple,,i hope this helps.,,and there is a bracket that holds the caliper on,,remove it also,,i think it uses a 18 mm socket.

I replaced a set of brakes on a grand prix 94-95 ? but the rear brake were disc and you had to unscrew the spindle cap to remove the rotors,I just used a wrench and pliers. Just an idea not for sure if its the same or not. On the front I just removed the tire and caliper rotor came off. good luck

Remove the caliper and tap the rotor lightly with a bead blow hammer. Do NOT remove the spindle nut!

i think you just remove brake caliper and bracket. The axle nut does not hold the rotor on
