I avoided alcohol while on accutane, but the one-month thing is only necessary if your going to get pregnant, or give blood. A really complicated article I read said the half life of an 80 mg dose is 90 hours... which means you should be able to drink within a few days. You just don't want the Accutane and the alcohol being processed by your liver at the same time.

I wouldn't. I'm sure Accutane is already hard on your liver. But I do know Accutane damages your hormones, I would get off that crap! is it for acne? try tee tree oil instead.

I would wait if I were you. Accutane is a strong drug and can give off various side affects.

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/oI77d
Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).
1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.
2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

I think the triglycerides may go up if you drink too soon after stopping accutane.....I'd give it a month or so and definitely ask your doctor first....if you're underage?........don't drink.

You can consume anything you like any time. It is just that you may become ill or die.
