Being a beauty therapist, the most common at-home facial I recommend to my clients is the following:

Step 1: Cleanse face and neck twice with a milk or gel cleanser, as foaming cleansers dry out your skin. Remove with a hot towel oak towel in hot water then wring).

Step 2: Exfoliate with an exfoliant that has micro-beads. Facial scrubs such as St Ive's Apricot Scrub will damage and stretch your pores as their exfoliants are jaggered edged. Remove with hot towel

Step 3: Time to deep cleanse. Pour some hot water into a bowl and cover with a tea towel. Apply a milk or gel cleanser then put your face under the tea towel and let the steam do the work for 5 - 10 minutes. Remove with hot towel.

Step 4: Now that your skin is nice and soft from the steam, you can do your extractions. Basically just put your fingertips on either side of the pustule and gently squeeze. It should be easy after using the steam. DO NOT try to extract pimples that do not have a head on them yet - you'll only cause more damage and they may spread.

Step 5: Now for the mask. A number of at-home masks can be found in chemists and beauty stores. Follow the directions on the packet.

Step 6: Tone. Apply toner to cotton pad and apply to face and neck. Make sure your toner is alcohol free.

Step 7: Moisturise face and neck.

of course you can.First you wash your face with a cleanser or scrub then you boil a pot with water and allow the steam to cleanse your face. This is also a great time for popping blackheads.Beacuse the steam looses up the zit. Then you apply a clay mask and after you remove it you go for a moisturizing mask and voila you've got your own facial at home
