Just buy a new one. DVD burners are relatively cheap these days online. Try www.newegg.com or www.zipzoomfly.com

IF you mean by "repair", getting the 2 disks out of the drive then yes.
IF you mean by "repair", that it no longer works because you put 2 disks in it, then NO it's not worth it. Buy a new one.
IF you can't get the disk drive open because you have 2 disks in it, then try this.
On most drives there is a small hole near the open button. Find a paper clip, large one is better, straighten it and push it into the hole. This will manually open the drive to get the disks out.

Once it breaks not worth messing with anymore. You should be able to pick up a new one for under 30 bucks. While your at it I would recomend upgrading to a dvd burner. Saw one for under 50 bucks last week!

your canine threw it on the floor,i hate even as that occurs! besides some cases you may pop the tray back into position.even as staring rapidly on the tray, verify which way it truly is misaligned, and heavily tweak it back in to position. lap tops are a touch harder,if that doesn't artwork you ought to open it up (the lap suitable) and open the cd rom and reset the tray, depending on the fee of your computing device might want to verify climate to have a save do it (might want to be spendy) or you should use an exterior force once you desire one.
