I just hate Gossipers. how do you make them stop!!!!?

i have this really handsome best friend...
but we are only best of friends
a group of girls gossip about me.
i just knew when my friend told me what she heard
they say that i'm crazy 4 my best friend and makes up stories that i flirt with him. just because he's a boy and i'm a girl, they'll jump into conclusions and gossip bad things about us?
because of their gossip, those mean girls made us ignore each other, me and my best-f.
what should i do to stop this..

You can't stop people from gossiping, they do it out of jealousy or boredom....try not to listen to it. You and your friend do whatever you want as if the gossipers weren't even alive. Why let them drive you apart? As long as you're not hurting anyone your life is YOUR business, not theirs.

You can't stop mean people from being mean. The only thing you can do is know in your own mind what is the truth. If you feel like you need to confront these girls, simply set the record straight in a matter of fact way and excuse yourself from the group. They may still gossip, but you will have said what was on your mind. Chances are, they have no lives of their own....otherwise they wouldn't be so interested in yours. Good Luck

Always use reverse psychology on them. Ignore them, and act like it doesn't bother you and best friend. You don't hear them, just keep doing what you were doing before the gossip started. They probably wished they were in your shoes, they need to get a life.

Tell them, Nobody likes to be gossiped about. If someone gossiped about her, she would be embarrassed. Tell her stop spreding, those rumors around, and tell her if you make up another rumor about me, i'll make one about you. Then once everyone knows, I won't gossip about you and tell your secrets if you keep gossiping about me. Now me, i wouldn't do that. I would punch her in the face. But, "Violence isn't the answer" So you just have to set her straight. Or tell your friends to make them Back Off!!!!!! I just hate gossipers too. They just want to have attention. That's the only reason they do it. Just tell them how it hurts you.

You might consider a new rule in your life: Don't allow your friends and acquaintances to say things about other people who aren't around to defend themselves; Don't allow your friends to bad-mouth themselves, either. I know it hard, but let them talk. Don't let their crap split you guys up. Anyway, those girls have probably talked about everyone, so they're probably known for that kind of crap.
