My result was negitave, but upon removing the test strip I noticed the window. It had one strong blue line and one faint blue line. And I mean faint. Did anyone else go through this and ended up actually being pregnant or should I ignore this comepletly?

Hmm...I used a clearblue digital, and mine malfunctioned (the digital readout is supposed to go blank after you remove the test strip, so that you can use the second test strip if you want, but mine continued to tell me I was pregnant for like, two days, so I pitched it.).

How many days ago were you supposed to get your period? It could be that you're pregnant, and it's so early that there's not enough of the pregnancy hormone, hcg, to trigger a positive result.

Or, how long did you wait to take the test strip out? It could also be that you left it sit for a while, and the faint line is nothing more than an evaporation line.

I'd wait a couple days, and then try it again. Be sure to use your first morning urine, as it has the highest concentration of the hormones the test would be looking for.

Good luck, whichever answer you're wanting to get.

Ignore it. Check out www.peeonastick.com, "Secrets of the Digital". It basically says that you ARE NOT to interpret the lines yourself, only the digital reader can get accurate readings. This is believed to be because the same strips are used for both the ovulation predictor digital test and the preg test, and an OPK will often have 2 lines even if not positive. It also states in the instructions that you should not try to interpret the lines yourself. Good luck!

i did and i was pregnant your best bet is to take it again in the morning when you haven't peed all night the later in the day you take the test the fainter the line will be if are pregnant if you can see a line then that means there is a line no mistaking it! even if it is faint that doesn't make a difference because the line is still there do not ignore it you can take another one tonight and see if that faint line is still there or you can wait till morning but i doubt you'll be able to sleep or wait till then good luck by the way if the pee brought any color in the second window it won't be a line it will just be watery and blue

You are advised to ignore the blue lines which are on the cartridge, as the lines are only in connection with LH levels. One line is a control line, which will always appear so long as the test works properly, however the second line is a line which detects a hormone which appears both with LH and HcG. It is the color density of the lines (something the naked eye cannot see) that determines whether you are pregnant or not.

The instructions specifically tell you to ignore the lines after you eject the test. I took the tests in both of my pregnancies and 1 time I had 1 line and the other I had 2 lines. I was positive both times because the test read Pregnant. IGNORE the lines

Yes, to me. Twice. I got the one with 2 in the box, both shown 1 dark line, and the other line was very light. Both tests were. So i figured, well if it shown just a bit, i may be then... but wasnt 100% sure. So, I went out and bought the ones that actually will say "PREGNANT" or "NOT PREGNANT" they cant be faded. Again i bought the 2 pack. Both were Positive Pregnant. Maybe try that one. Im sure you'll get your exact result. Good Luck.

I had the exact thing happen to me but my clear blue digital malfunctioned so it did not give me any result at all. I also noticed a faint blue line. I was pregnant so I would say try another brand to double check. I hope I am not getting your hopes up either way but good luck!

That is the evaporation line it means nothing. If you still think that you are and are having pregnancy symptoms then I would say to retest in about 1 wk or go to the doctor for a blood test. Goodluck
