Will Ferrell is the stuff! He is so hilarious...but what was with the heavy breathing, and that forever-kiss at the end?

I go to Will Ferrell movies and I'm usually only mildly amused. But, I think he was closer to the mark on this one - I laughed out loud several times. The kids, the wife - OMG they killed me. . ."if we wanted them to be wussies we would have named them Dr Quinn and Medicine Woman!"

I loved the fact that rednecks around the country are enjoying this movie even though it is mocking them. Also, I loved that the gay characters were so obviously superior to the hetero idiots.

I only smiled, it wasn't laugh out loud funny at all. 3 out of 10.

i loveeee will ferrell but the sound cut out in the theater so i couldnt hear the movie!!!!

I tend to like mindless humor but this movie was just plain DUMB.
