DL has it right.....and having lived here 33 years let me STRONGLY advise NOT to fly through San Juan......go out of your way and time and money to get a direct flight in..San Juan airport's commuter shuttle over to ST Thomas is a nightmare on a good day and looks like the Titanic after the iceberg in winter season.........

When i went i think i took American Airlines then a smaller plane from San Juan. Its beautiful there. I haven't been there from since1995. I was there for two hurricanes never went back. But the beaches are wonderful, so is the downtown area.

You can take any American Airline that go out to the Carribbean then from there Carribean Star or Carribean Sun are some airlines out there.
