No, if I was straight I wouldn't be me. Being gay has shaped my life and shaped me into the person that I am today. And I think everyone has to deal with discrimination so you just take it one day at a time.

I used to think so, but nah, not anymore. I like being me. I have a real aggressive personality that a lot of guys couldn't deal with anyway. Besides, I wouldn't trade the softness of a woman's body for anything in the world.

No, and I don't care about making anyone else's life a little easier from my pointof view maybe their lives would be easier if they would just stop worrying about us. Basically I am very proud of my sexuality and always will be.

hey gregory u are right we are really complicated. i bought a magnet that says "women were made to be loved not understood." anyway i had to smile when i read your answer. as for the question. it seems to me that if more people were openminded to other people's feelings then this kind of question wouldn't have to be asked. i don't mean that u are close minded i mean society in general. if everyone would just accept people for who they are instead of finding fault with one another the world would be a better place. everyone has faults and before anyone throws criticism at someone they need to look at themselves and criticize their faults first.

I would have never chosen to be gay. But I'm in my 50's and have traveled too many miles in these slippers to go back, so today, not I don't wish to be straight.

Nope. It's who I am. I'm happy, and i'm not going to let any such discrimination dictate who I can and can't be. It would be great to have more support, however i'm not going to hold my breath.

have a great day.
