During a brief reunion in November 2004 with "The Golden Girls" (1985)'s Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Beatrice Arthur, it was reported on TV by the ladies that Estelle was suffering from severe dementia.


She is 83 now and has Parkinson's disease

Estelle is far from dead, folks.

She does NOT have Parkinson's or Alzheimer's, but a disease called Lewy-Body Dementia, which does have Parkinson's symptoms. Other primary symptoms are fluctuating alertness and visual hallucinations. It's the same disease the claimed the life of Dudley Moore.

Betty White said on an Entertainment Tonight interview earlier in the year that Estelle is like a "curtain blowing in the wind." Sometimes she is there, sometimes not.

An associate of mine who knows Betty White personally told me about three weeks ago that she is not doing very well at all. She doesn't recognize any of her costars from the series who have come to visit her in the long term care facility. Very sad...

I have no idea, but if you are asking because you think she would be VERY old today, ironically she was the youngest of the bunch of old crones, they just made her up to look older...

Sorry no..but I love that show i know Betty White (a.k.a Rosa) is still alive I hope all of them are too....Girl u got good TASTE!!!
