I am partial to adventure...their is nothing better to me than coming back from a vacation with a broken bone...a battlewound from a time well spent. I am planning a trip in the next couple of months and can't decide to do the the relaxation or the adventure?

If you could also throw a cool spot in the western hemisphere that is not too exspensive or well known I would appreciate it!!

btw, I am Jamaican, so that is off the list!!

Yes (both).

There is a place in the Western Hemisphere that's good for both (though not at the same time). I'll give you a hint... it's in Central America, and they drive on the right-hand side of the road.

[I'm not going to tell everyone; it's already getting too overrun and touristy and all as it is. ;-)]

I like relaxation but if I have the chance to rockclimb
or bike ride, I am SO there. The most fun I've had on
vacation is being in the Las Vegas, Nevada
area....in the desert, the beach, the mountains,
Lake Mead and seeing the Hoover Dam.
We drove to Arizona (nice short desert drive!)
and it was the most beautiful
ride! Lots of cool stop offs and when you get back to
your hotel on the strip, there's every known form of
entertainment under the sun waiting for you!!!

I like to go places where I can wonder around the area and just explore (it doesn't have to be shopping since I am not partial to that). My husband and I walked the Charleston, SC garden path tour. This is an area where you walk from garden to garden and only come onto a street to cross it. They also have ghost tours. Close by is the home of the Swamp Fox (from Revolutionary History) Col. Francis Marion lived near there and this is an excellent place to explore. We go to D.C. periodically. We get dropped off and walk all over the place (this is cheap because all the museums are free). Lots of fun.

There are additionally many estancias interior one hundred kilometers of BA which you would be able to circulate to in an afternoon, however renting a motor vehicle could be effective and probably low-value than a coach excursion. Mar del Plata (the sea coast) might nicely be reached via practice, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it takes all day, so anticipate spending a night or 2. Colonia, Uruguay is an elementary day out on the BuqueBus and nicely nicely well worth the circulate to. The highlights of Argentina are far away..you will ought to fly to Bariloche, El Calafate, Salta, Iguazu, Cordoba or Mendoza. As for BA, evaluate renting an place of abode as adversarial to a inn. I constantly use BYT Argentina for bookings and characteristic constantly got here upon the residences to be as defined and sparkling. p.c.. a place close to a diffused station or a minimum of a quick stroll. i might propose between the Palermo neighborhoods, Retiro or Barrio Norte. i admire Palermo Soho by way of nightlife, eating places, cafes and the artsy-craftsy sense. The closer you're to Avenida Santa Fe, the greater effectual. Or Av. Cordoba/ Callou.
