Well. Homosexuals and heterosexuals are alike in that they both have their own sexual preferences... so it's not for anyone to speak for the gay community as a whole in answering a question such as this one. Some gay men prefer oral sex, whereas some prefer anal, and some have no preference at all. It isn't for any one person to say though.
But... my belief is that the majority is half and half on preferences--- half prefer one, the other half the other.
Hope this answers your question a bit.
If you were asking ME, and if I were a male homosexual, though, then I'd prefer oral merely because it's a bit safer than actual penetration...
