Well which one is it that your asking about? In your headline you stated "Better to be a student than a working adult" and in the main body you stated "better to be a working adult than a student". So which one is it? You can't go to school and not work at the same time unless you have someone to support you and most people are not lucky enough anymore to have a good job with no further education. So they really go hand in hand. GOOD LUCK! XOXO

Being an adult will suck. I'm 17 and I'm not looking forward to it one bit. As a student from grade 1-7 I always thought life would be so much better once I got rid of this god dam thing called school but eventually I obviously learned that after 'school' there is a thing called 'work' which is most likely more nerve-wracking than school and it also consumes much more time than school. On top of that there are bills to pay and situations which need solving. I can't understand where adults can fit in time for fun. People always say "you are only a kid once, live it up" only recently have I understood what that means in full because I realize that I'm coming out of my kid stage and into life as an adult. It is just so much easier to be a kid. If you screw up someone else older will help pick up the pieces for you, you get to go to school most days and meet up with friends then still have a good 7 hours after school to do whatever the hell you want! My vote goes without a doubt to being a student. I wish I cherrished it more!

I think that there are pros and cons to both. I really enjoyed being a student - there was a lot of freedom, but I didn't have a career and a steady and good paycheck. Now, I spend my whole week working or recovering from work! But, I also spend my time wiser now and have even better freedoms as an adult (my own place, spend money on what I want, buy what I want, etc). I do miss the days of college sometimes - those were great times!

When you are an adult, you have to worry about many things.
Worry about:
getting a job
finding a partner
not having money to support parents.
If you get a car, you have to worry about paying the car loan, taxes, insurance, the monthly interest.
And don't forget, if you decide to buy a house, you need to shop for furniture and pay for the housing loan if u decide to take a loan.
When you are a student, you don't have to worry about paying for anything. You are given your own allowance every week. Although you may get some stress from studying very hard, it still cannot be compared to the stress that you get when you work in the outside world.
When you become an adult, you have to worry about promotions -- earning more money.

i would say it's better to be a student rather than a working adult because being a student you get to make a lot of friends along the way whereas working you are more independent and relying on yourself. also, you get to learn a lot along the way as a student and get to prove yourself of what you can do if you put your mind into it. then again, part of being a student is so in the long run you are able to go to work or if working at the same time get to learn a lot more things that you can put into practise at work.

the difference is if you are a working adult with no education you get paid 12 dollars an hour and that would be a great pay!! if you are a student and you become a working adult with a major and a degree and a diploma you get paid twice or three times as much !! $$$$$$$$$$$$ how good is that!!!! you want to be the boss or the employee craying to get some benefits so you can pay for your dentist?!!!!

As a student, you dont have any worries about money or family responsibility. You are free to do what you want and when you want. You get away with more because you are young and you dont know better. I would LOVE to be a student. I unfortunately had to go to work almost straight after leaving school. (I have a friend who always responds: I was better when my parents still looked after me when you ask him how he is...)

to be a student so that teachers or parents can help you with problems as well as ur frz. lol
students are to study for their life, that is to acquire knowledge, study hard for high paid jobs! that's all... they don't have sense of responsibilities on financial or family problems unless you're mature enuff.
to be adult, you have to work in real life which is tough for most pple who have low education coz of low paid or bullies, thus no interest.
well, i think it's better to be a working adult than a student, coz you can earn money for your own n a great fun to get salary. Why not!?

Well assuming you're not supporting yourself while going to school and don't have those burdens yet, there's your answer, you don't have the same responsbilities of an adult.
It's a not a black/white question though.
I do enjoy the respect that comes with adulthood. As a student, I always felt we were talked down to. I don't miss homework and tests either, although adulthood has its own forms of homework and tests.
