I am from a town that tends to run off the nightlife, such as clubs, tattoo shops, etc.etc. I have a friend that opened a nightclub but he can't seem to grab the publics attention to come to his club. What would be some good ideas to attract the public to his nightclub.

One club from my area has the local radio stations come in with their personalities - they have parties there and DJ or have live groups come in a perform. They do fun things like have a American Idol contest and make it a Cincinnati Idol contest instead.

Try to get some live music in there. Local bands just starting will play for fairly cheap if not free just to get a start. Use some customer incentives like drink specials, pool tournaments, dart tournaments. These things usually dont cost the bar a thing. Whomever wants to participate pays a certain amount, put it all together and thats the winners purse. Will gain more attention, thus generate more revenue for the bar. Where are you located?

it all depends on where your located right now I'm located in a small town my self and there's a club but they gather mostly a hip hop style crowd but white ppl go lol not many black ppl i ever see in there. and its always the same ppl that go in. they refuse to expand their horizons I'm a production company owner and i deal with the public to help build the bands i work with's fan base i also did the same for night clubs up north when i turned 18. i would help promote different nights bring in different types of clients and such. but this owner seems not to be interested in my causes and duties. if u wanna grow in this biz your club needs to be a out let to almost every style out there host different nights different style events and bring in local and national music acts support your local music thanks and good luck if you have any questions plz contact me
