i'm reading this book called "the midwife's apprentice" by karen cushmam for a bookreport. i have to find 5 words i was unable to find in the dictionary that are most likely to be old slang. i have looked and looked for these 5 words but all the weird words are in the dictionary. if u read the book can you help me

Can you use phrases like "lackwit fool?" Another is "Corpus Bones."

Do some more research so it really will be your own work and you can be proud of it...if you even scan the pages you should be able to find someunuual words. Hint: write the words down that you don't know and them cross them off your list as you find them so that you don't waste your time looking up the same words again and again. Here's another idea - google Karen Cushman and see what she has to say about her work and how she uses words...
