My dad is making drive his car; or what i like to call it the beast. Which scares the living day light out of me, I have no idea why. I have always been afraid of it. One reason why is becuase its manual. I have only driven once, I understand the whole changing gears. I just get confused witht he clutch. Do I have to keep the clutch pressed down the entire time or only when I change gears. Any tips would help.

Only when you change gears. But don't worry: you will stall. Probably a couple of times at least. Everybody starts there - the anxiety, the fears of passing for a damn fool, the facing traffic without adequate experience or practice Get over it: get behind that wheel, start learning so you can forget about it. The sooner you do everything without thinking about it, the sooner you'll become confident behind the wheel. It's one of those landmarks of growing up. Bite the bullet and do it. And relax...

you hold the clutch down the entire time. its kind of a useless pedal, so what i do is spot weld the clutch to the floor of the car, nad that saves me some foot pressure.
