i did my pregnancy test from walgreens 3 days before my period due date, & i saw a very light faint line..am i pregnant??? Test cover say the line should be same or darker than the control window, but its lighter. Test is walgreens compared to clearblue. Pls answer!

Wait until your period is overdue and test again. If the line wasn't as dark as the control liine, you're either not pregnant, or it's too early to tell. If your period starts, then you've saved the price of another test. If it doesn't, by then you're more likely to get a positive result if you are pregnant. Last pregnancy I got a positive test four days after my period should have started.

Pregnancy test ANY second line is a positive, regardless of shade. If the directions on the box say it should be the same or darker than it sounds like you picked up an ovulation kit on accident, which for many people ALWAYS have 2 lines (like me). Go back to the store and make sure that you get a preg test and try again.

Take the test again with your 1st urine of the day. But if you got a faint line, you are probably pregnant. And by the way, the same tests that they use at walgreens aren't any different from what they use at the dr. I'm not sure what answer you were looking for, but i hope it works out for you.

I took the clearblue and my line was so faint it was gray. The DR. said that any shade means positive. If you retake the test in a week I can almost guarantee that the faint line will be much darker. Your Dr. can run a blood test and that will confirm anything but mine said that when the over the counters say negative you can second guess it- it may be too early. But, when they even hint a positive that it means you definately are. Congratulations!

If you can see the line, you are pregnant. If the line is the color they say on the directions, even if it's lighter, you are pregnant. If you want to be 100% sure, buy another brand (clear blue & walgreen test, are not the best if you are taking it before you period due date. try First response instead. Good luck!

You always buy the two tests in one box so you can retest a few days later. The test you took is inconclusive (no results). Also in the box on the paper it has an eight hundred number you can call with questions about the test results.
You can also get a test at the local health department.

I would suggest taking another one. I took one and the same thing happened.. turns out I was pregnant..even if the line is faint it usually always means you are pregnant..because that line only shows up when the pregnancy hormones are present in the body.. If another one comes out the same you definitely are. Congrats and good luck.

get another one and try again. I had the same problem. Turns out I was pregnant but tested a little to early.

give it some more time, then test again. Make sure to follow the directions exact!!
or go see your doctor and get a test from him/her.
