My husband is a security guard, and his uniform is light grey. He had an ink pen in his shirt pocket that leaked. HE washed the shirt and put it in the dryer. I think the stain has set. Is there any way to get the ink out?

Try soaking it in oxiclean and warm water before you rewash it. If that fails try hairspray.

Try using hairspray. Spray it on the ink stain and rub, continue doing this for a few minutes. I believe it will bring the stain out, even though it's been washed and dried in.

Try soaking it for a few hours in Oxi-clean. Then when you go to wash it, use either shout or spray'n'wash on the stain. I was going to suggest hair spray, but I'm not sure if it will work after the shirt has been washed. Good Luck!

Carbona's ink remover. It's a small yellow bottle located in the laundry aisle near the stain removers.

Try dousing it with aerosol hair spray. You may have to really soak it with the spray and then wash it a few times - spraying it again in between each wash.
