Sounds like you've got too many things going on at one time. Try closing some programs and see how you go.

Check for viruses, avioid useing too many programs at a time, your computer can only do a certain amount of things at a time, and mayb free up some space on your hard drive

Ok, I nkow how to specificlly handle this problem. When a computer freezes, check for viruses and spyware. Also, when you are done with that step, please free up some harddrive space on your computer. Depending on your OS, I would say that you may need an upgrade alltogether.

you are low on virtual memory and physical memory. try using a program that will defragment your ROM.

You can try a 30 free trial of system mechanic @ www.iolo.com.

I use this once a week and it keeps my memory from overloading.
